December was the wettest month in Ireland for more than a century. Storms battered the country bringing widespread rain and vast areas of flooding.
The Gilfresh farmers throughout Ireland fought through the weather to bring fresh vegetables to stores so that consumers would be able to enjoy vegetables with their Christmas Dinner!
