Part Time Forklift Driver

(Saturday Shift)

Due to continued growth Gilfresh Produce Ltd is seeking to recruit a Part Time Forklift Driver to join our Transport/Despatch team within our fast growing FMCG family business near Loughgall, Co Armagh.

Working within a chilled factory environment, the forklift driver will be required to:

  • Load lorries /vehicles safely in a timely manner. 
  • Ensuring product is dispatched on-time and right first time efficiently. 
  • Completing appropriate forklift checks and paperwork. 
  • Identify and report faulty equipment, damage and safety concerns immediately to the transport manager or Group Lead.
  • Have strong communication and close relationships with other departments.
  • Ensure finished produce is appropriately stored, loaded in designated areas all the time and appropriately scanned using ERP equipment.
  • Monitor production schedule, to determine necessary material requirements, movements and ensure despatch times are adhered to. 
  • Maintain tidiness in all areas with GMP practices as standard. 
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for Health and Safety and Food Safety. 
  • Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures relevant to each area of work.
  • Be able to  carry out any other duties deemed necessary, reasonable and within capability when required by management for the efficient running of the business.

  • Shunter licence and electric pallet truck experience are desirable, however full training will be provided.
