Growing with Gilfresh at Hardy Memorial Primary School

William Gilpin was delighted to go along to Hardy Memorial Primary School in Richhill recently to show the P3’s a little about how their vegetables get from our farm to their fork.
The children, who are learning about ‘Food’ in class, were delighted to have the opportunity to learn more about all the different kinds of vegetables that we grow and enjoyed watching some videos of the produce being planted, harvested, washed and packed here at Gilfresh Produce.
They also had a question and answer session and we were very impressed by some of the excellent questions received. Well done Everyone!
Hopefully we will see some of the children working within our vibrant Agri-Food industry here in years to come.
