Gilfresh leeks are nurtured through expert growing practices on our farm, which have been perfected through the years. State of the art storage facilities allow us to supply leeks beyond the natural season.

Growing Leeks
The first of our leeks are planted in April. These are covered with fleece to encourage growth.
Our leeks are harvested by machine and placed in a cage for transport to the packhouse for washing and packing.
How to Use Leeks
Leeks can be pan-fried, baked or braised and served as an accompanying vegetable. They can also be included in a wide variety of dishes including casseroles, soups, stuffings, omelettes, vegetable bakes, risottos, pies, quiches and pasta sauces.
In Season
Leeks are in season from August to March and this can extended by storing.
